Responsible Gaming

If You Have A Problem, We Have A Problem.

We want everyone to enjoy casino gambling, but only as a planned and budgeting option. Much like going to dinner, the movies or a ball game.

However, we understand that for a small percentage of people, casino gambling can cross the line and impact people's behavior in a negative way, causing personal or economic problems. We never want this to happen-ever. And we owe it to the community that we call home to make sure it doesn't.

One of the first steps you can take to determine if you have a problem is to get information. The following information will help you assess your own behavior by highlighting warning signs consistent with a potential gambling problem. It will also instruct you on what steps to take, including whom to call for help.

Signs & Symptoms of Compulsive Gambling

  • How much time is spent gambling
  • Increase in gambling time and places
  • Increase in size of bets (sudden & dramatic)
  • Making up special occasions for gambling (canceling other plans)
  • Intensity of interest in gambling (constant tension & excitement)
  • Boasting about winning, evasive about losing
  • Exaggerated display of money and other possessions
  • Gambling when there is a crisis
  • Drop off in other activities
  • Frequent absences from home and work
  • Excessive phone use
  • Withdrawal from family
  • Personality changes (increased irritability/hostility)
  • Diversion of family funds

If you are concerned that you may be showing signs of disordered gambling, we strongly urge you to get help. There are a number of resources available, including the Mississippi Council on Problem and Compulsive Gambling help line (1-888-777-9696), the National Council on Problem Gambling help line (1-800-522-4700) or local meetings at Gamblers Anonymous (1-213-386-8789).

In addition to seeking help from others, problem gamblers can help themselves. You can voluntarily place yourself on what is called a "self-exclusion list," which will remove you from all casino mailing lists and you will be barred from gaining access to all casinos. Should you successfully gain entry to the property while on the Self-Exclusion List, you shall be arrested for trespassing. To obtain a self-exclusion application, see security, a casino manager or your local Gaming Commission office.

We love our customers. But if you have a gambling problem, then we have a problem with you being here. Get the facts. Get help. Get in control.
